Programmable ultrasonic welding machine with standing post-bed version

The workpiece is held between the sonotrode and the anvil wheel and welded continuously under pressure. When welding continuously by the ultrasonic method, the material to be welded will be subjected to rapid changing pressure vibrations. The heat develops because of molecular vibrations beneath the material surface, for thin materials within the immediate vicnity of the actual weld.

Ultrasonic welding with the USM450A is a modern, innovative and economic altemative and complementary to conventional sewing technology If assembling of laminates, clothing fabrics with high share of polymer and technical nonwovens is required and in particular to get, the use of the USM450A is the first choice.

Application

The version is particularly well suited for welding three-dimensional shapes, such as hoods, caps, bags, etc. With the aid of the column two parts can be joined together flat.
In this process the part is placed around the column and then welded from the column out (e.g. the longitudinal seal of a sleeve or of a filtering bag, processing of hoods, covers).
